WHEN DO WE ACTUALLY FEEL COLD ON THE SLOPES?

When the body is moving it produces heat, so you don’t really feel the cold.
Then you stop, sit on the chairlift, and everything slows down.

That’s when you really understand what cold feels like.
You realize whether what you’re wearing actually works, whether your gear protects you from the external temperature, in short: whether the insulation was chosen well or not.

The goal is to stabilize the garment and its temperature.
It’s not about making a “warm jacket”, but about creating a garment that keeps warmth stable throughout all phases of the day.

This is why we use PrimaLoft® Black: a synthetic insulation, different from traditional down, with unique performance characteristics.

WHY NOT TRADITIONAL DOWN?

Because on the slopes humidity is constant.

Natural down retains heat very well, but in skiing it has a clear limitation: when it gets wet, it loses efficiency.

Water conducts heat much more than air.
If insulation absorbs moisture, the body loses heat faster — exactly what we don’t want when we stop moving.

That’s why we chose an advanced synthetic insulation.

It does not absorb water and therefore maintains its structure even in humid environments.
